HOME CONSTRUCTION

• Home Construction Submission to the ACC:
  

• Submission of one complete set of building plans shall be madeby the prospective homeowner or through his/her builder/contractor.
  

• Building plans and specifications submitted to the ACC shall consist of not less than the following:
  

Foundation plans;

Section details;

Floor plans of all floor;

Elevation drawing of all exterior walls;

Roof plans;

Material specifications (type of windows, doors, siding, roof

type {architectural shingles are required}.  You may be asked

to submit a sample of a shingle, other roofing material and

or siding material;

• Site plans showing locations and orientations of buildings on the lot, with all setbacks indicated;
  

• Plans and specifications shall show driveways, service courts or areas, parking or other buildings,improvements or facilities to be constructed.
  

• Landscaping plans will be required at a later date.
  

• The City of Beaufort will also require a Tree & Topography Survey   prior to clearing your lot..
