Your request should be directed to the Chairperson of the ACC in writing, either by postal letter or via email.  Check the "Contact Us" page    for the name of the Chairperson, his/her email address or our mailing address. Please keep in mind that the City of Beaufort will not issue you a building permit unless the ACC has approved your request.  Include the following information with your request:

  • Painting you house or performing any significant exterior repairs/additions or landscaping.
 
1.This type of request should include a sample of the paint, siding  or shingle color

2.Include the name and address of the contractor who will perform the work.

3.Landscaping would require submission of a sketch of the proposed changes.

4.Additions would require the submission of detailed plans including an elevation view.

5.Keep in mind that your submission must be reviewed by the members of the ACC, which may require a minimum of two                                                weeks turn around time.

6.Extensive submissions may take longer because of the review process which is involved.
